Just Arrived - 1973 Bay Window Camper Project - Field Find Bay window Camper Type 2, 1700cc W Code Fuel Injection Engine - A bit like a porsche 914!, has been standing in a field since around 2001, sadly a barn would have been a nicer place to find it! It has good gutters. It is complete, Underside is rotten, Standing 23 years in a field has ruined it! Its a huge project and most likely will end up as a VW Parts donor. It Rolls freely for loading. ( I cannot deliver ), Previous owner installed the 1700cc Fuel injection engine - it is a W code and appears to be a Factory recon unit. We installed Points and Rotor arm and had it fire up briefly on "Starting fluid, I'am aware that it is worth more in parts than it is in one piece. |

The engine is a complete unknown and thus is sold for spares. It turns over by hand but as you can see has been sat for a very long time. There is some end float to the crank.
